The Midget 'AAA' 57's may have lost three games over the weekend, but they were able to pick up their first win of the season Saturday afternoon.

Hitting the road to battle the Southeast Twins twice, the 57's dropped the first game 5-1, before taking down the Twins 3-2 in the back-half.

Having began the season with a 10-game winless streak, Swift Current snapped the streak, thanks in large part Nolan Klein.

Starting the game at third base, Klein picked up two RBI before pitching the final 3.2 innings to secure the win.

Brock Wall, Nathan Warkentine and Riley Hughes all came into score, while Hughes also pitched the first 3.1 innings.

On Sunday, Swift Current returned home to face the Saskatoon Cubs and dropped both contests.

They fell 14-3 and 13-3.

The weekend moves the 57's record to 1-11-1.

They will return to the diamond on Saturday when they host the Saskatoon Diamondbacks.
