New Ambulance Fees Now In Effect

For the first time in four year there was new changes made to the ambulance fee guidelines.

The changes came into effect on Saturday , and are in part a result of the cost of gasoline, maintenance and other operating fees.

The basic pick up rate is now 220 dollars, and kilometer charges are at 2 dollars 20 cents.

Residents in rural Saskatchewan are encouraged to purchase additional health and medical insurance that covers full ambulance coverage.
