The Swift Current Comp Colts soccer team pulled off an improbable comeback on Saturday at home against Moose Jaw Peacock.

After falling behind 4-1 with 17 minutes left in the match, Swift Current's offence exploded for a trio of goals to knot the game up at 4-4 earning a draw.

Rowan Reimer scored the first two goals for the Colts while Austin Funk chipped in with one and Carter Munro tied the game up with 1 minute left.

Coaches Garner and Munro:

"We had numerous chances all through the game but just couldn't capitalize"

"Both teams had 10 and 11 players and opted to play 9V9 which on Irwin Field is quite the challenge with a limited bench for substitution"

"We see a team beaming with opportunity and after witnessing the adversity they faced with a never quit attitude, we think this team will only find improvement and growth"

The Colts are back in action this afternoon at 3:45 p.m. at Irwin Field as they play host to Moose Jaw Central.
