There's a full day of activities at Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park to celebrate Canada's Parks Day on Saturday.

The day's events include a geocaching seminar at 2:00pm from the Ampitheatre, and a presentation from University of Regina professor Mark Brigham on bats at 8:00pm, also at the Ampitheatre.

"He's bringing out his ultra-sonic bat detector, and you can actually see bats flying around, which is actually kind of neat," said Park Interpreter Matthew Thompson.

The Sask Landing Walleye Fishing Tournament is also held at the park on Lake Diefenbaker. The boats will be in the water through the weekend, and weigh-ins will be from 3:00-4:00pm Saturday and 1:00-3:00pm on Sunday.

Sask Landing is also celebrating their 40th anniversary this year, and there will be events at the park to mark it over the August long weekend.
