The Ministry of Parks, Culture, and Sport has launched its campsite reservation system for the 2015 summer season.

With the ten day staggered launch this year, the Saskatchewan Landing reservations will open tomorrow and the Cypress Hills will open for reservation today.

Director of Visitor Experiences, Mary-Anne Wihak says the staggered launch dates are in place  to manage the demand for the reservation system and ensure technical stability, adding that the process will go a lot smoother if you know what kind of campsite you are looking for.

"As well we have introduced a queuing feature, which will help to manage the volume of customers that are moving on to the reservation system at any point in time," she said. "Go onto our reservation system and create a profile, or if you've been a user before, go on and make sure your profile on the system is up to date so it doesn't take you any time during the reservation process."
