In a reversal of an earlier decision on Sunday, today the Government of Saskatchewan has announced that all classes in the province from pre-kindergarten to grade 12, will be suspended indefinitely beginning on March 20, 2020, due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic.

The period of March 16 - 19 will be a wind-down period.  Parents who are able to remove their children from the schools are able to do so immediately with no impact on the child's grades or attendance.  While parents who have limited childcare options have a window of time to plan for class suspensions.

Swift Current Online will have more on this story as it develops.
