In their daily COVID-19 report today The Saskatchewan Health Authority has reported five new cases of the virus in the province.

Four of those five cases are in the Far North region, and one is in the Saskatoon Region.

That brings the provincial total  to 751. This total now includes two cases of individuals who tested positive in Saskatchewan but reside out of the province and are under investigation.

Of those 751 reported COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, 95 are considered active.

In t he South region there are 34 cases.

No new recoveries were reported today so that provincial total stays at 643.

There are three people in hospital - all inpatient hospitalizations - one in Saskatoon and two in the South. There are currently no patients with COVID-19 in intensive care.

To date, 60,780 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.
