Update: The driver of the motorcycle, a 49-year-old male, was transported to the hospital in Swift Current and then air-lifted by STARS air ambulance to hospital in Saskatoon. His injuries are reported to be serious but non-life-threatening.
A collision Reconstructionist from RCMP Swift Current Regional Traffic Services attended the scene, as well as officers from both municipal and rural Swift Current RCMP detachments.

Highway number #1 is open again after having its eastbound lanes blocked late yesterday evening due to a collision.
A full report has not yet been released about the incident. But what is known so far is that it was a single-vehicle accident occurring two kilometres east of Swift Current involving a motorcycle with a single occupant.
The occupant was taken to hospital with what are reported to be serious injuries.
