The Swift Current Community Youth Initiative is going on an Inspire Camping Trip, and they have a few spots left to fill.

The camp is located near Candle Lake, which is north of Prince Albert, and the goal of it is to help kids grades 6-8 with character development.

"So next week, Monday-Friday we are taking a group of junior highs camping up by Candle Lake, we will be going for 5 days, doing some hiking, canoeing, swimming," said Bryce Fairburne, Program Director of the Community Youth Initiative, "and we've been given money so that it costs them nothing, the costs are 100% covered."

Fairburne added they only have about 3 or 4 spots to fill, so if you are interested, get in touch with them at the Centre as soon as possible.

"They can either come down to the Center during the day, they can call the Center at 773-8168, or they can contact the Center through Facebook or Twitter, and the sooner the better, it is first come, first serve."

The group will leave from Swift Current Sunday July 21st, and return Friday July 26th.
