It was a tough day for nine and six-man football teams around the southwest on Thursday.
The nine-man Maple Creek Redmen fell 46-0 on the road against the Indian Head Broncs and now sit at 1-4 on the year.
They wrap up the regular season on the road against the 1-4 Lumsden Devils, with that game set for October 18 at 4 p.m.
The Devils' lone win of the season came yesterday against the Shaunavon Shadows, as Shaunavon dropped it 37-22 at Shadows Field.
Shaunavon is also 1-4 on the year, and finish up their regular season on the road October 18 at 4 p.m., when they take on Fort Qu'Appelle, who's at 2-3 on the year.
In six-man play, the Gull Lake Lions lost 74-56 to the Hanley Sabers on the road, finishing in fourth place in the division at 2-3.
They'll be on the road against the 5-0 Hague Panthers to start playoffs. That game is set for October 19 at 4 p.m.
