In today's daily COVID-19 update The Saskatchewan Health Authority is reporting five new cases of the virus in the province.

Three of the new cases are in the Central Region, one is in the Saskatoon Region, and one is in the Regina Region.

These numbers bring the provincial total to 876 cases, 76 of which are considered active.

There are currently 18 active cases in the South.

There are 19 more recoveries reported today, bringing that provincial total to 785.

There are six individuals in the hospital. Four people are receiving inpatient care, all in Saskatoon. Two people are in intensive care -one in Saskatoon and one in the South.

The total number of COVID-19 deaths remain at 15.

To date, 75,774 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.

Starting today, COVID-19 testing is available to anyone who requests it, regardless of whether they have symptoms or not. A referral for testing can be made by contacting HealthLine 811.
