In the September 3 COVID-19 update from The Saskatchewan Health Authority there have been a total of ten new cases reported in the province.

Of those ten new cases, six are located in Saskatoon, two in the Central West zone, one in the North Central zone, and one in the South Central zone.

All of Saskatoon's current active cases and several of the active cases in the rest of the province are directly related to out of province travel.

That brings the provincial total of cases to 1,634, of which 36 are considered active.

There are four active cases reported in the South West zone.

There have been three more recoveries, bringing that provincial total to 1,574.

There are two people in hospital, both in Saskatoon, with one receiving inpatient care, and one in intensive care.

Twenty four deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported to date.

To date, 143,451 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.

And yesterday there were 1,325 COVID-19 tests done.
