Support continues to pour in for Swift Current's Thomson family as they navigate an extremely heartbreaking time of mourning.
Alana Kayfetz organized a GoFundMe on behalf of the family to help alleviate the financial burden of travel and funeral costs, also ensuring they can focus on honoring Bella's memory and healing together.
The fundraiser went live 18 hours ago and by 6:30 p.m. yesterday more than $10,000 had been donated.
As of 10 a.m. this morning, the total sits at $58,000 of a $75,000 goal.
Kyla Thomson has confirmed that the GoFundMe is legitimate and the family thanks everyone who has shown support.
"To all our family, friends back home and in this digital space; we feel your love and we are forever grateful & thankful," she wrote on social media.
