Residents only have until midnight on Friday, June 18th to purchase their tickets for the Saskatchewan Lung Association Breathe Right raffle.

Along with a 50/50 that has reached over $100,000, there are many prizes to be won in this year's raffle as Erin Kuan, President, and CEO of the Saskatchewan Lung Association explains.

"Starting off with the idea of living free for a year. So $4000 a month, you would get a cheque for that every month for a year. We've got a vehicle for a year donated by Dodge City in Saskatoon. We've got some great outdoor packages with snowshoes, electric bikes, and patio sets. We've got groceries for a year, so many good things for everyone."

The Lung Association is the oldest health charity in the province and was established in the early 1900s. They working on providing a mission of improving lung health one breath at a time.

All of the money raised goes towards the hard work done by the Lung Association as Kuan details.

"One of the things that has really been important to our stakeholders this past year is reliable information and support especially as we all navigate through the pandemic. We actually have eight online support groups going right now and include everything from COPD, Sleep Apnea to COVID 19 and that can be for both parents and caregivers."

Kuan adds that the Saskatchewan Lung Association provides a lot of education, information, and support for health care professionals and heavily invests in Saskatchewan lead research with $100,000 going directly to research each year.
