It's a legitimate business.

That's the message Michael Desousa is trying to get across, after allegations arose that his discount vacation company was scamming people at Frontier Days.

Desousa is a manager for Perfect Places, who is working with and on behalf of Great Vacation Destinations on the Canadian market.

He says people who fill out forms and fit into their demographic are contacted with a discounted vacation. He says they then have the option to take the vacation or not, adding all of the terms and conditions were on the forms

"We're not a scam, quite the contrary," Desousa said. "We're trying to provide people with a vacation and hopefully, they'll come and use the company again."

Anyone with questions, Desousa asks to call their customer care number 1-888-727-2345.
