After a brief warm-up, temperatures are back down into the -20° range for much of the province this morning. The drop in temperatures is being accompanied by high winds as well.

Here in the Swift Current area, the winds resulted in snowdrifts developing on many highways in the area, prompting the Ministry of Highways to issue travel not recommended advisories for the Trans Canada from Rush Lake, thru Swift Current, to Gull Lake. Also impacted by the travel not recommended advisories – Highway 4 from the US border north thru Swift Current to Saskatchewan Landing, and Highways 13 and 37 through Shaunavon.
