The Swift Current Wolverines swept a weekend set with the Moose Jaw Mustangs in Prairie Gold Lacrosse League action on the weekend.

Austin Klimm had six goals and Isaac Froese and Carter Michaluk added three goals each in a 20-3 win for the Wolverines at S3 Arenas on Saturday. On Sunday in the Friendly City, Michaluk and Riley Pribyl each had a hat trick and Layne Cadrain and Adam Zanidean added a pair of goals each in a 13-3 win for Swift Current.

The Wolverines improve to 6-1 and are in a tie with the Prince Albert Predators for top spot in the league standings. They face the Predators and Saskatoon SWAT on the road on Saturday before hosting the SWAT for a pair of games on June 10.

Minor Lacrosse results

U13 Rampage #1 defeated U13 Rampage #2 5-3 to start off the weekend on Friday, then Team 1 travelled to Regina on Saturday for a 10-1 win over Moosomin and a 12-4 win over the Regina Warriors. Team 2 were in Moose Jaw Saturday where they lost 8-6 to the hosts and 5-3 to Standing Buffalo. 

The U17 Rampage fell 7-2 to the Moose Jaw Mustangs, 9-0 and 6-4 to the Regina Snipers, the U15 Rampage tied Moose Jaw 4-4 and defeated Weyburn 4-0, and the U11 Rampage defeated Moose Jaw 5-2 and Standing Buffalo 8-1 in Balcarres.
