Kyle RCMP handle theft, collisions, and suspicious activity
Kyle RCMP dealt with multiple complaints in the area between September 12 and 18, 2025, including theft, suspicious vehicles, traffic offences, and minor collisions. On September 13, RCMP began an investigation into the theft of a purse from a rural location in the RM of Lacadena. On September 15, officers responded to a suspicious vehicle north of Kyle on Highway 4, and another suspicious person complaint came in on September 18. Traffic-related incidents included a minor collision between a combine and transport truck near Fiske on September 16 and a report of a traffic offence at Clearwater Lake Regional Park on September 17. Earlier in the week, members responded to a semi leaking fluid near Zealandia but were unable to intercept the vehicle. RCMP also attended a house fire in the RM of Lacadena on September 18, with no injuries reported.
