The Swift Current 57's win-streak reached nine-straight games with a 9-4 win over the Melville Millionaires last night.

The surging 57's broke the scoring drought in last night's tilt with a six-run fourth inning, which would ultimately prove to be the deciding frame.

Even scoring distribution saw three different multi-RBI games, and four different batters rack up multiple hits.

Blake Adams had two hits and two RBI, and Anthony Stewart ripped three hits and one RBI to lead the way.

Nick Canas and Ryan Gross both drove in a pair of runs, while Ruben Rodriguez and Keil Krumwiede also racked up a pair of hits.

Brock Gilliam got the nod for the 57's, lasting five innings on the mound, giving up two runs (one earned) on four hits, and striking out four batters to earn the win.

Relievers Aaron Pugh and Spencer Koelewyn both pitched a pair of innings out of the bullpen, each allowing one unearned run on one hit.

The 57's out-scored the Millionaires 18-7 over their two game set, coming away with a clean sweep.

Also in the Eastern Division, a Regina Red Sox (22-16) loss means the 57's (23-17) closed the gap drastically between the two teams.

Though both teams sit seven games back of Weyburn, the 57's have played two more games, leading to a slim disadvantage in win percentage (.579 to .575).

Swift Current goes for their tenth-straight win at home against the Okotoks Dawgs (26-12) tonight.

First pitch from Mitchell Field is 7:05 p.m.
