The future of the Swift Current Broncos arrives today as the 2017 bantam draft class has their orientation.

Broncos Head Coach and Director of Player Personnel, Manny Viveiros, says both first and lasting impressions are important for everyone.

"From the very first day, you have to leave an impression so that when they go back to their clubs for next year, they have a really good idea of how we do things here as an organization and what it means to be a Bronco."

Viveiros says he wants the young players to learn about the player experience in Swift Current, and that the current players are their best ambassadors.

"They're the ones who live the player experience. They can talk to these players and say 'this is how it is - this is how we do things in Swift Current,'" he said. "That's the best thing to do - be able to have positive reinforcement from the kids you had the year before. From what I know, all of our kids loved playing here last year."

Full camp starts with fitness testing on Wednesday.
