Former Swift Current Broncos captain Adam Lowry put pen to paper on a multi-year contract with the Winnipeg Jets yesterday.

Lowry re-signed with the Jets, agreeing to terms on a three-year, $8.75-million deal.

The towering 6-foot-5 forward racked up 21 points (8 G, 13 A) in 45 regular season games with the Jets, adding a pair of assists in 17 post season games over the 2017-18 campaign.

The injury-shortened season was Lowry's best scoring pace in the NHL by a comfortable margin. His 0.467 points-per-game this past year easily tops the previous high of 0.354 per-contest set in the 2016-17 season.
