Baylee Kirwan from Gull Lake is amongst the few players across Canada invited to be apart of the Under-18 Team Canada National Women's Hockey Team.

The Swift Current Diamond Energy Wildcat forward finished 3rd in league scoring in a season that got cut short due to Covid-19. Kirwan accumulated 41 points split between 29 goals and 12 assists.

Along with finishing 3rd in league scoring, Kirwan won the Fiona Smith Most Sportsmanlike Player last season as she only sat in the penalty box for 10 total minutes.

The camp for the U-18 women's national team will be held virtually this summer.

With this announcement is the 3rd consecutive season where a Diamond Energy Wildcat will be participating in the camp as Taylor Lind was invited in 2019, and Kirwan's older sister Taylor received her invitation in 2018.
