The Royal Canadian Legion, Shaunavon Branch, held their annual Poppy Drive last Thursday.

Deb Aadland is the Co-Chair of the Shaunavon Poppy Drive. She says all the funds raised stay in the Shaunavon area. "We sold quite a few poppies and made about $2500 for The Legion. And we had the volleyball kids from the High School come and give us a hand. So, it went really well, and we thank the volleyball kids for coming and giving us a hand."

Poppy boxes have been placed in various businesses in Shaunavon and around the southwest in case you were missed during the Poppy Drive.

Remembrance Day Services in Shaunavon are November 11 at 10:45 a.m. at the Legion Hall, followed by a lunch, and then a supper that evening.
