The Eastend SADD Group.

The Eastend Students Against Drinking and Driving, or SADD, Group are looking to raise awareness of the dangers of drugs and alcohol.

They will be holding a community supper this evening starting at five thirty.

Included in the evening will be supper, a keynote speaker, and presentations by the Shaunavon RCMP and Cypress Health Region Drug Addiction Councillors.

Janice Michel is the President of the Eastend SADD Group. She says, "We really wanted to kind of get the message out to the community. Obviously, the parents of the kids know a little bit about what the SADD Group does and what our message is, but we really wanted to try and spread the message and raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving for the members of our community."

Admission for the evening is by donation.
