Yesterday in Swift Current Provincial Court, it was an adjournment for a man charged following a bust that saw over 100 allegedly stolen items seized by police.

Neil Olson appeared in person, and had his case adjourned to January 2 at 9:30 a.m.

The Swift Current Rural RCMP arrested Olson in town on November 19, nearly a month after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police acted on a tip of suspicious activity, which led them to a seizure of over 100 items of property on a rural property east of Swift Current.

Olson's charges are possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, two counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and theft of electricity.

Olson plans on obtaining a lawyer, but did not have one yesterday morning.
