A 17-year-old male was in Swift Current Provincial Court today on charges stemming from a pipebomb discovered near the Swift Current Branch Library in mid June, and was given bail.

The youth was released on 24-hour curfew, and had his case adjourned to August 8th.

He's to obstain from drugs, alcohol, and has a full weapons ban.

Charges include possession of an explosive without lawful excuse and possession of a weapon dangerous to the public.

He can't be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
