The Swift Current Broncos will close out the regular season this weekend with a home-and-home series with the Calgary Hitmen.

Tonight the two teams will meet at the InnovationPlex with the Broncos holding the slight season series edge 2-1.

Swift Current will be looking to stay red-hot going 17-3-1 in their last 21 games while the Hitmen need a win and a Prince Albert Raiders loss to stay alive in the Eastern Conference playoff picture.

"They kind of have nothing to lose," Broncos forward Rylan Gould said. "Winning the division was nice but like we said, you're only as good as your next game. So (we'd) like to hit the ground running going into the playoffs and making sure we don't create bad habits."

The Broncos' first-round opponent has yet to be determined between the Prince Albert Raiders, Brandon Wheat Kings, and Lethbridge Hurricanes. Tonight could provide some clarity to the picture as all three teams are in action.
