Each year Canadian Western Agribition hands out a number of post-secondary scholarships.

The Canadian Western Agribition Scholarship awards $2,500 to students with a history of involvement in Agribition as exhibitors, volunteers, or competitors.

2018 winners include Christin Dixon of Arcola, Katie Serhienko of Maymont, and Travis Hunter of Didsbury, Alberta. 

Jill Sparrow of Vanscoy is the winner of the Barry Andrew Family Scholarship which awards $1,500 to students with a history of involvement in Agribition as well as pursuing post-secondary education in the field of agriculture. 

The William M. Farley Memorial Scholarship awards $1,500 to students with a history of involvement in CWA with special recognition for those contributing to the show through volunteerism. This year’s winner is Emma Nicholas of Milestone.

In the 25 years of the Scholarship program, there has been $216,000 awarded under the three scholarships.
