Swift Current Broncos goaltender Reid Dyck is moving up to the professional ranks to finish his season.

The AHL's Providence Bruins signed the 20-year-old to an amateur tryout contract this morning.

Dyck posted a stellar 25-7-2 record for the Broncos this past season with a 2.70 goals-against-average and a .911 save percentage in 35 games.

The Winkler, Man. product started all nine of Swift Current's playoff games and will join the Bruins for its playoff run that has them in the Atlantic Division Semifinals awaiting their opponent. 

Dyck was drafted by the Boston Bruins in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in the 6th round with the 183rd overall selection.
