The Swift Current Broncos went back to Sherwood Park, Alberta, on Saturday for their second game in four days against the Edmonton Prospects.

Brody Alexandre hit his 20th RBI of the season on a single that brought in Thomas Collins in the sixth inning, but that wound up being the only run for Swift Current in a 4-1 loss to the Prospects. Collins went 3-for-4 in the game and Owen Stevenson and Cory Bonstrom also had base hits.

Starter Adam Golby struck out six batters and allowed six hits and three earned runs over five innings as he took the loss on the mound. Waturu Murakami had nine strikeouts over seven innings to get the win for Edmonton and Ethan Cernohous picked up the save.

The 57's fall to 16-18 and remain in third place in the East Division. Regina beat Moose Jaw 9-6 in other WCBL action on Saturday, so Swift Current is five games behind the first-place Miller Express and 2.5 games back of the second-place Red Sox.

The 57's wrap up their Alberta road trip on Sunday afternoon in Okotoks and then return to Saskatchewan to visit Moose Jaw on Tuesday. Their next home game is on Wednesday against Medicine Hat.
