RM of Swift Current #136 Fire Department Fire Chief Louis Cherpin says that they are still investigating the cause of the fire, with a final conclusion about a week away.

"All indicators point to that it was something with the vehicle itself," said Cherpin. "It's not of suspicious nature or anything like that. It's just unfortunate, bad luck."

Cherpin thanked everyone who responded to the incident for their cooperation and teamwork in mitigating the extent of the fire.
