The Swift Current 57's finished their seven-game Alberta road swing with just a single win to show for it as they dropped a 7-5 decision to the Okotoks Dawgs on Sunday.

Cory Bonstrom drove in three runs on a bases-clearing double in the eighth inning, and Justin Barnes and Logan Grant had an RBI each. Grant hit an RBI double to bring home Thomas Collins in the fourth inning, and Barnes brought home Bonstrom on an RBI double of his own in the eighth.

Grayden Stauffer allowed two earned runs over four-and-two-thirds innings to take the loss. David Case struck out seven over five innings to pick up the win for Okotoks, while Seth Thompson got a four-out save.

The 57's fall to 16-19 and are in third place in the WCBL's East Division, five games behind first-place Moose Jaw and three games ahead of fourth-place Medicine Hat.

Swift Current visits the Miller Express in their next game on Tuesday and then returns home for the first time since June 30 when they host the Mavericks on Wednesday.
