The twelfth installment of a popular event that drives foot and wheel traffic to the heart of the city, is taking over Market Square tomorrow.

A variety of classic chrome will line the streets downtown for Cruisin’ the Market, with registration starting at 8 a.m. and only costing a donation to the Swift Current Salvation Army Food Bank.

Ed Fonger, with the City of Swift Current, said there’s always amazing prizes to be won for those who enter. This year, there are over 18 categories.

“Looks like we’re going to have a beautiful weekend,” he said. “Have some fun, and just enjoy the day.”

Judging is set to commence at 12:30, closing the registration window. Fonger added that awards are announced roughly two hours later.
