The Swift Current Broncos are riding a four-game winning streak as they take on the Medicine Hat Tigers tonight at Co-op Place. 

The Broncos are coming off a 7-3 win over the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday and have outscored their opponents 28-15 over the last four games. Swift Current sits six points back of Medicine Hat for the Central Division lead. 

Tonight’s game is on Country 94.1 FM with Redhead Equipment Case IH Broncos Hockey starting at 7:45pm. 

Portland beat Kamloops 7-1 in the lone WHL game on Monday. The Blazers visit the Wenatchee Wild in the only other game tonight.

Legionnaires host Tisdale in make-up game tonight

The Home Hardware Legionnaires welcome the Tisdale Trojans tonight in a game that was postponed due to extreme cold temperatures on Saturday.

It will be the first game back from the Christmas break for the Legionnaires, who sit fourth in the SMAAAHL with an 18-5-3 record and are four points back of the league-leading Saskatoon Blazers with two games in hand.

Face-off is at 7:45pm tonight from Innovationplex. Sunday's postponed game between the Legionnaires and Trojans will be made up Wednesday night in Gull Lake.

Habs snap three-game slide while Canucks see road win streak snapped

Joel Armia's goal with 4:10 left in regulation was the difference as the Montreal Canadiens snapped a three-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over the Colorado Avlanche on Monday night. Cole Caufield added a goal and an assist for Montreal, who snapped Colorado's three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Kirill Marchenko scored the lone goal in the shootout as the Columbus Blue Jackets edged the Canucks 4-3 to snap Vancouver's five-game road winning streak. JT Miller, Conor Garland and Elias Pettersson scored for the Canucks, who still hold the overall lead in the NHL standings with 62 points.

Tonight's NHL action includes the Edmonton Oilers hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs, Ottawa welcoming the Avalanche, Winnipeg entertaining the New York Islanders and Calgary hosting the Arizona Coyotes.

Bucs roll to NFL Wild Card win over Eagles

Baker Mayfield threw for 337 yards and three touchdowns as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers routed the defending NFC Champion Philadelphia Eagles 32-9 in the NFL's Wild Card round on Monday night.

The Bucs, who have won six of their last seven games, will visit the Detroit Lions in the NFC Divisional round on Sunday. Green Bay will head to Santa Clara to face the San Francisco 49ers in the other NFC playoff game on Saturday.

Earlier, Josh Allen threw three touchdown passes and scored on a 52-yard TD run as the Buffalo Bills beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-17 in an AFC Wild Card game that was postponed a day due to a blizzard. The Bills will host the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Divisional round on Sunday night. The Baltimore Ravens will host the Houston Texans in the other AFC game on Saturday.

Raptors fall to Celtics for fourth loss in a row

Jayson Tatum scored 19 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 105-96 win over the Toronto Raptors Monday night. RJ Barrett had 24 points for the raptors, who have lost four straight games.
