Swift Current Broncos forward Conor Geekie was dealt to the Tampa Bay Lightning this morning by the Utah Hockey Club as part of a five-piece transaction.

Geekie, J.J. Moser, Toronto's 2025 second-round pick, and the 199th pick in the 2024 Draft were sent to the Lightning for defenceman Mikhail Sergachev.

Geekie was acquired by the Broncos on Jan. 4, 2024, from the Wenatchee Wild for Josh Fluker, Sam Ward, Maddix McCagherty, a 2025 and 2026 first-rounder, a second-round pick in 2025 and a 2027 seventh-round pick.

The Strathclair, Man. product had 23 goals, 27 assists, and 50 points in just 29 regular season games with Swift Current. He scored six times and added three assists for nine points in nine playoff games.

Following the conclusion of the playoffs with Swift Current he appeared in two AHL games with the Tuscon Roadrunners failing to find the scoresheet.
