As your Southwest Explorer, it is my duty to chase the fun and bring as many people with me as I can, and this weekend, Kyle will be the place to be, as they are celebrating the town’s 100th birthday. The centennial festivities will include a parade, a history walk downtown, and two dances to choose from. Don’t forget to pick up some commemorative merchandise, and enjoy the wide variety of concession options.

If you’re feeling athletic, there will be plenty of ways to get active and have some fun. you will be able to enter in a beach volleyball tournament, a slo-pitch tournament, and street hockey for the kids.

Of course, another pivotal event will naturally be the 47th annual Kyle rodeo. I am so lucky to have a job that allows me to attend so many rodeos, because no matter how many I visit, the excitement never wears off.

As always, keep an eye out for me on Saturday, and you could get your hands on some Full Line Ag Fun Bucks to be used at our Million Dollar Auction at the end of the summer.
