The Town of Gull Lake is preparing to host a day of frosty fun this weekend.

A pancake breakfast gets started at 9 a.m. on Saturday, with non-stop events and entertainment throughout the day until 1 a.m. on Sunday.

Lindsay Aliban, economic development officer for the Town,

"There aren't very many activities that have a price tag attached to them," she said. "So, it gives all families the opportunity to enjoy some activities and socialize with people throughout the day."

A tradeshow will be set up from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., simultaneous with outdoor fun like snowshoeing, wagon rides, and bonfires. Other exciting features include a cabaret in the evening with fireworks to close out the night. Kids entertainer Danny Kazam will also be returning for a show at 1:30 p.m.

Full details of the day's events can be found on the Town of Gull Lake's social media pages.

Volunteers are still needed to help make the big festival a success by working two-hour shifts. Anyone interested can contact Aliban at 306-741-3775 or email gulllakeedc@gmail.com.
