It was a quiet first round in court for David "Tiger" Williams.

The former NHLer had his first court date on May 10, in which he was represented by his attorney, Aaron Fox, while he himself was not present.

Crown Prosecutor at the Swift Current Provincial Court, Curtis Wiebe, was able to relay a few facts after the sessions ended.

"He's been charged with uttering threats and assault," iterated Wiebe.

The next court date is set for May 24 at 9 a.m.

"I actually wouldn't anticipate that he'd be there [in person], but he might be," said Wiebe.

Swift Current Online will provide more updates on the case as they emerge.
