The Saskatchewan Health Authority is advising residents that there has been a delay in the shipment of Pfizer vaccines expected to arrive this week.

As a result, some immunization clinics scheduled this week will be offering the Moderna vaccine instead, starting Wednesday June 23.

Residents with booked appointment who are affected by the delay will be contacted to inform them of the change. Appointment times and locations will remain the same.

Youth aged 12-17 can only receive the Pfizer vaccine. Any youths who are affected by the delay will be contacted directly to discuss arrangements for immunization.
