Eastend's Jace Egland had a hat trick and added an assist as the Swift Current Home Hardware Legionnaires picked up a 6-3 win over the Tisdale Trojans on Tuesday at Innovationplex, in a game that was rescheduled from the weekend due to extreme cold temperatures.

Egland opened the scoring for the Legionnaires on the power play while Wesley Olson added a power play marker of his own to make it 2-0 for Swift Current. Ryder Mucha and Justin Whitrow scored for Tisdale to tie the game at 2-2 before Egland scored his second of the game to make it 3-2 after 40 minutes. Mason Osinski picked up his first goal of the season to make it 4-2 early in the third period before Mucha cut Tisdale's deficit to 4-3 with his second of the game. Egland completed the hat trick with 8:02 left in regulation and Tristan Mitchell-McElhone added an empty-netter to seal the win.

Jacob Morris made 29 saves as the Legionnaires outshot the Trojans 37-32.

The Legionnaires (19-5-3) take on the Trojans again tonight at 6:00pm in Gull Lake.
