The Federation's sanctions have resulted in teachers being called to stop all extracurricular activities, appear at school only 15 minutes before and after the school day.

Sanctions still indicate that supervision during recess, lunch or for bussing needs will remain.

The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation announced the sanctions on Monday morning.

Yesterday afternoon, the sanctions lead the SHSAA to cancel the remainder of their basketball season.

Ten southwest Saskatchewan teams were set to attend regionals scheduled to begin Friday.
