As the sun begins to set on summer, the Fairview Pool is gearing up for its final day of the season.

With closing day just around the corner, Meghan Chisholm, the Aquatic Supervisor for the City of Swift Current, elaborated on the bustling 2023 season.

“It was a really hot one this summer,” she stated. “It's great to see everyone come and enjoy the sunshine being outdoors, and enjoying their summer vacation, especially with the kids being off from school. It's been a busy summer and we're always happy to see that.”

With a successful season under its belt, the Fairview Pool is now preparing to close its doors on the 2023 season. As the final week approaches, the pool's schedule is packed with family and public swim sessions, offering plenty of chances to take one more dip in the pool.

“We have our family and public swims happening in the afternoons and evenings and over the weekends as well,” Chisholm elaborated. “We encourage everyone to come on down before the season ends.”

Fairview Pool will close for the season on September 4, drawing the season to a close with the annual pooch plunge.

Both the Fairview Pool and Aquatic Centre will be closed on September 5, before the Aquatic Centre opens for the season on September 6.
