Campers heading to the Cypress Hills Provincial Park this weekend need to be aware of the fire ban in place.

Bud Sabean, Forest Protection Manager for the Provincial Park, says that the ban was put in place on the 24th of July, and that they have recieved little to no rainfall since.

Open fires are completely banned, and stoves and barbeques must be looked after with extreme care.
