The Swift Current Fire Department has released details on Saturday's second-story fire. 

The blaze ignited on the second floor of a unit located on the 400 block of Second Avenue Northwest. 

Nine firefighters arrived on the scene in three vehicles and quickly battled the flames. They encountered thick smoke and dense fire but were able to extinguish it quickly and conduct ventilation and salvage operations. 

No injuries have been reported as caused by this fire.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
