Swift Current Light and Power Crews are working on updating the last few street lights in downtown Swift Current. 

These light poles will be the last of the updated lighting, taking place today on First Avenue Northeast in Swift Current. 

Darcy Henderson, a crew member on the job site with Swift Current Light and Power, has been hard work with his team and is glad that the updated infrastructure will be done after today. 

"We're going to be moving them to the parking lot lines, which they're not on right now," said Henderson. "We're going to be offsetting them off the curb a little bit because when they redo these sidewalks, they're going to be putting in a splash guard here on the curb."

Folks should use caution as they drive by and pay attention when walking down the east sidewalk by the Legion Hall.
