The Saskatchewan Health Authority has released their daily COVID-19 update this afternoon.

There are four new cases in the province today...three new cases in Saskatchewan and one new case was a Saskatchewan resident tested out of the province.

Two of the new cases are in the Far North, one is in the North and one is in the South.

That brings the Saskatchewan total to 757 cases.

The Public Health Agency of Canada has provided surveillance guidance regarding the attribution of COVID-19 cases amongst provinces and territories. As of June 23, nine cases previously attributed to Saskatchewan will no longer be included in the Saskatchewan total count because their residence is outside of the province.

Of those 757 cases, 101 are considered active.

There is one recovery reported today, which brings that total to 643 people.

Five people are in the hospital - four receiving inpatient care-two in the South and two in Saskatoon-and one person is in intensive care in the South.

There have, to date, been 13 COVID-19 deaths in the province.

To date, 61,856 COVID-19 tests have been performed in Saskatchewan.
