A number of local youths in court in Shaunavon yesterday.

Four youths and a young adult were in court facing 19 counts of mischief. The youths will be going through the Alternate Measures Program, which means they will meet with RCMP and residents of the community to try and decide on restorative justice measures that can be taken.

Their cases were adjourned to December 7th for plea. Another out of the province youth has also been charged in the case.

Another area youth pled guilty to two break and enter charges, as well as a breach of conditions of release. He will be sentenced October 24th in Swift Current.

And a 70-year-old Shaunavon man had his sexual assault charge adjourned for trial until January 4th.
