Rain, or even snow, didn’t stop people from camping this year.

Brandt Siefert is the Parks Supervisor for Cypress Hills Provincial Park. He says that the number of people camping this summer was up by 16-20%.

He adds that the nice summer temperatures helped attract tourists and wants to remind people that Cypress Hills Park still has some campgrounds open.

There are two campsites open until the middle of October.

All of Saskatchewan’s Provincial Parks closed after the Labor Day weekend.
