Southwest residents have an opportunity to have their voices heard when it comes to arts and culture in the community.

The Art Gallery of Swift Current recently created a survey to put out feelers on what the public wants, enjoys, and thinks.

Curator Luke Maddaford encouraged community members to fill out the digital form, no matter how often they utilize the gallery.

"Our big goal with it is to gauge the perception of the gallery within the community," he said. "We really want to understand what people value about what we do, what they want to see, how they feel about us."

The short questionnaire includes things like individuals' availability to engage in programs, what kind of programming they're looking for or are interested in, and an open question to submit thoughts or suggestions.

Whether individuals are seasoned art enthusiasts or new to the realm of creative mediums, their input is invaluable in shaping the gallery's future.

For those eager to contribute their insights, the survey awaits participation until the end of the month: https://s.surveyplanet.com/8sc23995

"I'm just encouraging people to fill out this survey and be honest and open with their responses," added Maddaford. "The more feedback we get, the better understanding we have of the community."
