Charges have been made and now, the driver of a car involved in a police pursuit, will be appearing in Provincial Court.

Police responded to an erratic driver call around 1:30 Friday afternoon, and attempted to stop the vehicle. The driver failed to stop, and that resulted in a chase along a grid road running westward along the Trans Canada Highway.

The car finally stopped around five kms. North of Webb when the driver attempted to flee on foot before surrendering shortly after. The passenger in the car stayed with the vehicle.

Charges laid against the driver will be made clearer later on in court.
